Crafty Cuppa

The “Crafty Cuppa” is a community social event and takes place in the morning on the last Friday of each month, in the Memorial Hall, commencing at 10.00am. There are a number of regular stalls for the sale of crafts, cakes, and other bric-a-brac, and the opportunity for special stalls from time to time on request, to raise money for good causes. Coffee and tea is served while people have the chance to browse and buy, and we enjoy the opportunity to sit and chat and catch up with each other‟s news. There is always a complementary raffle based on the purchase of drinks, and a separate raffle for a food hamper or other prizes to raise money for the local Air Ambulance. This recently allowed us to donate £2000 to this excellent service, for which we are extremely grateful to all those from the community who supported this project. We love to see new people coming along, so why not join us when you can? For further information contact Phyllis Taylor.

Note: There are no meetings in September when a coffee morning is held instead in aid of Macmillan Nurses, and in December because of the Christmas holidays.
