About Us

St Michael’s is part of the Church of England, in the Coventry Diocese.

The Bishop’s Vision Statement has been the focus of Church life and growth for the last  few years:

  • Worshipping God
  • Making Disciples
  • Transforming Communities

We are a village church, and therefore open to everyone in the village, regardless of their church background. In a recent village survey, the church  was commended as being important, not only as a historic building, but as a caring community.

We are an evangelical church. This means we hold firmly to a Biblical understanding of faith – recognizing that we all fall short of God’s standards, and that it is only through the cross of Jesus that we can find forgiveness and make a new start in a restored relationship with God. We believe that this is Good News (evangel) and that it’s therefore something to be shared and enjoyed together.
